Nvidia Tegra is a system-on-achip series, and of course it was developed by Nvidia for mobile devices like personal digital assistants, mobile internet devices and smartphones. Each Tegra is a "computer on a chip" which can integrate the ARM architecture CPU, GPU, Northbridge, Southbridge, and the memory controller.
Dual core processors of Nvidia Tegra 2 are the most sought after chipsets, ever since Nvidia showcased their ware at the CES 2011 launched in Las Vegas. The company is now already following up the hype together with plans for a Tegra 2 3D chip. If plans worked out as per schedule, we might get to see the Nvidia Tegra 2 3D chip arriving in our midst this Summer.
The informations about the upcoming Nvidia Tegra 2 3D processor have been leaked. A slideshow specially made for presentation at the Mobile World Congress, which will get underway in less than a month at Barcelona, Spain, has been found in the wild.
According to the leaked slide says, the Nvidia Tegra 2 3D processor will be clocked at 1.2GHz. To be based on a Dual Cortex A9, the new chip should needs to be seen as Nvidia’s tryst with changing technologies and could be a forerunner in the domain.
With almost all tech innovations of Nvidia treading the 3D display passage, certainly it was that 3D chipset processors were coming. Nvidia’s innovation could well be heralding the arrival of a whole new set.
